Over time, the diaper cakes became more elaborate and I began to add items into the cake that would help expecting parents prepare for their new bundle of joy. I would add outfits, pacifiers, rash cream, or anything else I could think of that might help… and sometimes, just stuff I thought was cute.

One day it dawned on me, why does everything have to be for the baby? Most first time parents don’t yet know about all the sleepless nights and crying, so I began making space in their cakes to include some goodies for the parents. For some, it was a very classy bottle of wine, for others it was a snazzy new custom water bottle. Regardless, I felt very strongly that my cakes should include a little something for everyone.

Each cake is also shrink wrapped and well packed to ensure that no part of the cake is damaged during shipping. The shrink wrap also makes it easy to transport to a shower, office, or home and easy to unpack for a beautiful decoration, until ready for use.

Since day one of making diaper cakes, I have loved designing each cake to fit the theme of a nursery, shower, or something that the parents enjoy.
